Format: Women’s Week August 18 – 22, 2024

Participants:

Open to women and gender-diverse players of all skill levels.

Tournament Details:

• Games Guaranteed: 3 games minimum.
• Team Composition: Each team consists of 15 players and one goalie.
• Registration: Individual registration only. You may request to play with a specific player, but placement is not guaranteed (see note below).
• Balanced Teams: Teams are formed based on skill levels to ensure balanced competition.
• Jerseys: Provided for each game.
• Location: Early ice times at Sunset Rink.
• Participation Rule: Players must play at least one round-robin game to be eligible for the final.
• Gameplay: Non-contact hockey following ARCHL rules.
• Roster Requirement: 75% of roster spots must be filled by July 8, 2024, to keep the tournament viable.

Schedule:

Dates: August 18 – 22, 2024

• Sunday, August 18: Teams Formed (Time TBD)
  • Players meet on the ice and are assigned to teams by captains to ensure balanced teams. Players will run through drills to determine skill levels
• Monday, August 19 – Wednesday, August 21: Round Robin Games (8pm or 9:30pm)
  • Teams compete in a round-robin format to determine rankings.
• Thursday, August 22: Final Game
  • The top two teams from the round-robin phase compete in the final game.

Important Note:

It is crucial to indicate your preferred teammate during the registration process. This helps in organizing teams more efficiently and enhances your tournament experience. However, to maintain competitive balance, not all requests can be guaranteed, especially if registrations are received late. By signing up early and specifying your preferred teammates, you increase the chances of playing on the same team as your friends.
